I’m involved with Palm Springs surf club build.
The pumps are 6ft tall to the flange for plumbing. huuuuuuge mofo’s
Its gonna be bad ass once they figure out how to tame it.
The drawback is they used an old wave pool footprint. Their “design” showed wave should be ankle slapping by end of structure. with wave options up 6-9ft range
I did lazy river work, all the spas, and hard pass on wave pool work lol
first test wave was over 15ft, instantly filled the spas outside of structure and was nearly 10ft high when it went out the end of the structure, over the deck, past the building, up the hillside landscape, and the return took the landscape with it back into the pool. Lmao

They are already working on starting 3 more wave pools, if I recall 2 ca, 1 in vegas
