Some fiery rebuttal if you aren't watching. The Baptist lawyer preacher.

After lunch the judge is going to:
Charge to the jury refers to the instructions given to the jury by the judge regarding the law that applies to the facts of the case on trial and definitions of the relevant legal concepts. It is the opinion expressed by the court to the jury, on the law arising out of a case before them. It should contain a clear and explicit exposition of the law.
Then they will deliberate, my guess is if they come back today or tomorrow it is guilty. If it goes into next week it will be hung. They are saying the judge likes to keep his jury's deliberating and will keep them until late at night if need be. As far as I know they haven't decided if they will sequester the jury during deliberations.

What was the distance separating the 2 victims? How do they know the mom was running to her son? Defense closing mentioned hair found in the hand of the mom. Was that brought out during the trial? Since objections are not allowed during closing arguments, could those attorneys just get up there and say whatever they want, knowing it may be BS, but the opposition can't object?

One may object during closing arguments. And failing to lodge a timely objection during closing arguments may preclude some future remedies.

Here is an interesting short article talking about it.

This case is interesting to watch.

I am not sure how far apart they were. Not to far from the pictures.

I saw something about hair but I think that is something the defense says was mishandled.

Both sides had objections during the closing arguments. Prosecution went first then the defense then the prosecution had a rebuttal.

Amazing words from the Judge during sentencing.
Sharp cookie.

Did I hear the Judge say he deserved the death penalty?
I kind of heard as your family has sentenced people to death many times.
Sounded like the Judge felt that would be a just payback.

Found a report indicating Margaret was about 30 yards from the feed room and Paul's body.

Didn’t realize Murdaugh’s area was so extremely small town. The entire county, Colleton, has only about 38k people. The courthouse was in Walterboro, only about 5k people. Can only imagine how infamous the Murdaughs had become.

Murdaugh's attorneys have been a disaster since the trial started, and the unbelievable unforced errors they made have guaranteed Murdaugh a life sentence without parole in AdSeg. He's going to be housed with the pedos, snitches, convicted cops, and other low lifes. If they put him in GP he'll be dead in six months.
AdSeg it is. Murdaugh will spend the rest of his life with the bitches.

I think he sounds too self important...he'd feel as though he'd be depriving the world of his presence.

Special kind of evil to kill one's own:(
I think not being top of the food chain in his own mind will throw him into depression and then the withdrawals of the dope and alcohol.

Plus there is always the chance someone screws the pooch and puts him into general pop by “accident”.

If he goes GenPop, he'll make someone a nice bunkie...he won't survive without someone "covering" his rear.
