My daughter's boyfriend's Hotshot crew just got sent up there yesterday.

With the number of wildfires burning across the West, there are fewer resources available to combat the fires burning in Idaho.

Are they moving here to stay or just temporarily?
The rental market is almost impossible and the housing market is a s bad or worse than CA. Have them look further away from downtown Boise in the surrounding areas. DM me if you/they want and I’ll give you my phone number.

A Hotshot crew are the first ones in when a fire brakes out. There were no roads to where they needed to be, so they were dropped off by helicopter this morning.

Have sleeping bag, will travel.

My good buddy up to the pan handle area in lewiston. Way better than south area where all of Cali people are going. And by the way, the locals like to call us "dirty Californians"

Apparently there was a grass fire South East of Lucky Peak (our local boating lake) Friday afternoon. By 10pm the fire was under control and pretty much out. Kudos to the firefighting crew, planes and equipment that knocked this out before it got out of control. The mountains and hills here are super dry and would just explode if not for the fire crews.
