If enough people would buy them, they would. Right now if you want one you get a Yamaha, KTM, or Husky.

There’s a few companies making AF 2 stroke conversions. I have given this some serious thought as I miss my 250, and at my age can’t bring myself to soend 8k on a new husky. The new husky/ktm’s are sick though.
