I used to live in Phoenix. Was downtown one day in August. Probably 115 or so, had some cold gatorades in my car. Gave a guy on a freeway off-ramp begging for cash. Two cold ones. He threw them across the highway to a dirt lot as soon as I went to drive off. He ruined it for everyone else. Now I don’t give anyone shit.

You want to make it easy tell them there’s an open bar on the bus to Sac, and a bag of coke waiting for them when they get there.

When they get there tell them it’s a scavenger hunt to find the coke and give them a map to the governors house.

Pre C19 I would help the ones that actuall looked like they needed help. There was an old man that sat outside the exit door at the HD in Cypress. Same clothes and coat everyday. He sat on the support column curb for about 2 years and everytime I walked out of there I would give him a $5 bill and he would mumble "God Bless You Young Man". One day he wasn't there and never saw him again. His stains were still there where he sat everyday for about 3 weeks then they must have cleaned things up.
A few months ago there was a begger outside Jack in the Crack. I felt sorry for her and bought her a meal deal and gave it to her when I left. She threw it toward the trash can and said she wanted money. I told her to go fuck herself. Fuk em, I'm done with them and their drug habits.

I say we bus all the homeless and panhandlers to Sacramento. Maybe they’d solve the problem when they are overrun in their own city with them?
Sacramento is already packed full

Sad state out there.

I will usually ask them if they want food, If they say no then I keep walking. If they say yes then then I get them a sandwich or burger or whatever. I will never give them money but it is amazing how many times people have a sign that says " homeless and hungry" but will deny food.

There's a few on the offramps in the OC. I first look at their shoes un an attempt to gauge how needy they are. Some wear very nice and clean nikes. That's a dead giveaway they aren't in need of anything

People who give money to panhandlers seem to forget how much they are already paying in taxes that go to social services these panhandlers refuse to use. Or aren’t forced to use.

The libs are double dipping themselves.

When I used to go to the gym everyday, I would wear out athletic shoes pretty quick. They were still wearable, just didn't have the support I needed for my feet. I'd throw them in the work truck and give them to the first homeless person I saw that obviously needed something decent for their feet.

They just need more beer when it’s hot to keep their “ mixture“ right.

Won’t ever give them money whatsoever but I did see a guy in Vegas one time on the bridge that goes in-between 2 casinos, can’t remember which ones, had a sign that said “not gonna lie need money for beer” I walked back in the casino bought him 2 beers and went and gave it to him, hell at least he was honest and super grateful, how much $$$ have we all wasted over the years buying chicks drinks at bars to try and get lucky and get nothing, at least this guy said thank you over and over

I believe in peoples right to destroy there lives, once they do I’m not interested in them being my problem. You can’t have freedom without personal responsibility. Unfortunately forced shelter and labor should be the law of the land. The laws should favor property owners and tax payers first.

Same thing happened to me years ago. I was walking into a fast food place and a guy outside was begging for money and looked very malnourished. I bought an extra cheeseburger and a bottle of water and on my way out gave them to him. As I walked away I heard him throw them in the trash can next to him. No more free lunches from me!

It's working for Texas Governor Abbott. There are liberal heads exploding over his busing of illegals to New York, DC, and now Chicago.

About 1,500 have been sent to NYC, the mayor is going postal over it. Same with the mayor of Chicago. The world's ugliest lesbian politician is having a shit fit because 75 illegals showed up a few days ago.

Keep 'em coming, Gov.

What we have today are vagrants. They aren't "homeless" people. They are dope addicts and/or mentally ill. All you can do is defend yourself against them.

vagrant

vā′grənt

noun

  1. One who wanders from place to place without a permanent home or a means of livelihood.
  2. A wanderer; a rover.
  3. One who lives on the streets or constitutes a public nuisance.

Do the gypsys still pretend to play the flute with the speaker in a bush behind them?

Someone followed one to their new BMW a couple months before we moved 😉

LOL I taught my wife that lesson in Chicago a few years ago. She always gave money and I told her they’d spend it on drugs and alcohol. She didn’t believe me and said they’d buy food. As a test, we ate at Lou Malnatis and I had her give some homeless half the remaining pizza. She walked up sweetly to a pair, handed them the pizza, smiled, and they said, “what am I supposed to do with this?” I felt sort of sorry for my wife as her smile faded, and she said, “I got you food.” She’s never given money outside of legitimate charities now.

Every once in a while at the Ralph's on Greenfield. Mostly today we're two sets of females with multiple kids in tow.

There was a kid, maybe 19, panhandling in front of a Jack of the Box. I passed by on the way in, said Sorry. On the way out I stopped and asked him if he was hungry. He said, I’m starving. Took him inside and told him order way you want. He ordered a combo and I asked is that all? Said get something that will last a few hours to eat later. He ordered another sandwich, I paid and left.
Something was off, he was clean, sober, definitely not on the street. Anyway, did my good deed for the day.

About 70% of all heroin imported today comes through Mexico.
When you give a junkie money to make yourself feel “good” 99% of the time you are putting dope into their viens and cash into the cartels pockets.
There’s only one group of people that can control where the junkies go and that’s the network of drug dealers.
It’s an organized tragedy. The taxpayers are funding the drug trade via social engineering and the junkies are merely the middle man between city hall and cartels.
Don’t even get me started on the “recovery” charade. Talk about a perpetual money machine.

It is to hot for them to sleep during the day so they may as well be begging.

In Phoenix, I’m thinking the panhandling is organized and well run. Really bad in Tempe, you can just tell it’s not pure
We were there in July for 5 days. 115* each day and my daughter felt so bad for them, she wanted to get waters and granola bars to pass out. I had to say no and explained exactly what everyone is saying here. There’s homeless and then there’s strung out tweaker. This was Tweaker Central.

I watched one of the local median beggars get into his Infinity and drive off at the end of his "shift."
We had Brother Benos soup kitchen a few blocks from my dealership. We'd regularly see a dude park his high end car in front of my store, mess up his hair, untuck his shirt, etc then go walk downfor free supper. Makes you ill.😠

I was getting gas and a 20ish guy comes up pushing his bmx bike and asks for money.

I said get sober and you won't have to be a bum asking for cash.

He slinked away.

The people that choose to help themselves get better aren't the same people on the corner begging or panhandling. People that choose to stand on the corner and beg or panhandle aren't interested in helping themselves get better. They just want drug money. I don't want that garbage in my neighborhood or anyone else's so I choose not to contribute to them.

I had one pull that line on me in Torrance one time. Getting on the 110 at Sepulveda I had a roast beef sandwich in the cooler to give him and the guy said " i'm a vegatarian " I could only laugh

It's a really sad peice of society
