Finally got her on the water. One year in the making with a full restoration and I am more than happy. Was able to go WOT and got 6200 RPM and 60 mph with a four blade 22 pitch and had absolutely no chine. I went with, solid motor mounts and I now believe that the chine walk was created by the structural integrity of the Transom failing and bad motor mounts. I’m thinking about bumping up to a 23 pitch and bringing the RPM down to 6000/65 mph and maybe less than 10% slip down to seven or eight.
