I have a bunch of cordless tools, all or M-18 Milwaukee. My 1/2" impact is an old air impact about 35 years old..... I'm thinking about buying this one anyone have it? It's only drawback is it's "mid-range: torque 0450 lbs.

They are on par with Mac or Snap-On. The only thing is they don't handle being dropped or kicked across the floor as well. The 4 screws that hold the metal to the plastic go through ears that aren't as beefy. Even on 3 and a cracked tab, function well. If it's your own, not a shop or crew, probably last a long time.

I have a 3/4 drive for semi truck and NPR wheels. Don't have to run out the big air line and 1" Gatlin gun. I wouldn't have bought the tool truck stuff if this stuff was around then.

I keep one in my truck and 1 in the garage. Easily I’ve taken 100 tires off or put on and I can only think of 1 trailer lug that needed a breaker bar.

They are a great tool. Before I retired I purchased 50 of them for my line crews to replace the 1/2” air Impacts in their bucket trucks. Ariel equipment manufacturers started making it difficult to get them plumbed with air and my guys liked these because we had changed from the Dewalt to Milwaukee platform a couple years prior. Now I carry one in my tow rig in case need to rip the lug nuts on n off.

Fuel version 100% the "break loose" feature is worth it alone. It will apply full impact torque but as soon as it sense the spindle speed goes over a certain amount it slows itself down so that you don't have "runaway" when removing the nuts.

We run the Fuel model in all of our service trucks and tool trailers. Well worth the money. I thought about buying the DeWalt 1/2" for around the house since I don't need a $500 impact at home and don't want to switch over to Milwaukee... In the meantime, I just borrow one from work when needed.

I’d suggest borrowing Dave’s his retntal times and low cost makes it the hands down best value. 👍

I have the Fuel 2767-20 that I keep in the RZR. Awesome gun and a ton of power. Not much more $$ than the 2663-20 that you are looking at. $249.00 at Home Depot

We have a Ryobi 1/2 (meh) But our new Makita 1/2 is a total bad ass , Takes off stubborn impeller nuts better than my IR "thunder gun" Josh and I have a ton of Cordless including Ryobi, Makita and Milwaukees we also have drawers full of air tools that we rarely use to me its a toss up on Milwaukee vs Makita
