The $$$$ depends on the internals of the motor, and the rigging/condition of the boat. Just like all of them, fresh casale doesn't mean much, is it a split case or c-500? 3/8" or 1/2" v-drive plate? shaft sizes, prop shaft size, etc etc etc.....

Not knocking this boat, looks good from the outside, race aero, etc, just that these are always the first questions to ask, i'd love to score a nice 20' to be a repeat of Spanjin's, (my dream 20' would be a naturally aspirated, solid lifter, EFI 540, stacks, dry headers, spinning 7500+ rpm and running 105-110mph :skull

Has anyone turned a 100 mph + in a 20' Schiada? About 90 - there isn't much of the boat in the water, atleast on a light layup. I remember dad commenting that he didn't like going over 90 or so without a skier on the backend when he had the blown motor in her.

Racey - looks like I'll have a close match to your dream boat here in a few weeks - except for the EFI component. Going tunnel ram carburated. Plan on making up my own plexy glass carburator covers. Sean

There was one 20 that i know of that ran really hard. If i remember right.
it ran around 110 + at firebird. It was a yellow and orange boat. The boat was rigged by Phil Bergeron back in the early 80's and he did a lot of
bottom work to it. We took the boat in on trade in the late 80's and Lee ski raced it a couple of times. when i drove it it handled really good on the top end. Lee sold it to a guy named Milt. From there he ski raced it for some time then i don't know what he did with it.

I remember Dick Colburn ran his 20 thru the kilos @103mph in the early 80s. Race aero 468, light lay up, called Streaker. White w/ blue/orange/yellow strpes.

Racey Sr. built a 20 for Dick Spangian that was running over 100 w/ naturally aspirated bbc.

I worked on that boat when Milt had it. Set up like a k-boat "snout" drive. Fast boat and Milt was close to 250-300lbs himself. yellow and black with a couple orange stripes if I recall correctly. 20's can be fast boats.
