Hmmm, 3rd row seat and power to tow a 255 Hallett? You'd need a Navigator for that. I had a Navigator towing my 257 Mirage twin engined was 8300lbs on the trailer at the scales. We have 2010 jEEP Gand cherokee LTD with the 5.7 Hemi, rated to tow 7200LBS. Not towing 8300 with that!
You'd find hard to tow 7200 legally with midsize SUV unless turbocharged.

I see how you buy and keep stuff in perfect condition as well as have certain needs in a SUV. I would just keep what you have and enjoy it. It sucks having a expensive SUV just setting in the garage and hardly being used but i think youll have a hell of a time finding somthing used that you would be 100% satisfied with.

Keep the Yukon. Everything smaller that is similar in quality and features is going to cost as much as what you’ll get for the Yukon. Without the same towing capacity, and won’t get any better fuel economy than the baby Dmax.

If you were looking to downsize to a much smaller SUV it might be worth it, but since you tow and need 3 usable rows- plus room for stuff in addition to people- anything smaller is going to be a compromise.

Still trying to unload our Duramax Yukon since we only drive it once or twice a week now. I think the price is pretty solid and it's only listed here. Going to probably post on FB this week.

With that one gone I want to get into a mid size SUV when my daughter needs her SUV back.

Here are the wants/needs -

4x4
Seats 7
Captains chairs in 2nd row
Main thing is can it tow our Hallett 255 from the house to Windsor and back (couple miles each way)?

Anyone have one they love, that can handle the small amount of towing and has the other features?

If it’s going to be a local tow, sounds like you got what you need.

Start looking for a good parts source, and a mechanic that’s local to Havasu.

I bought a Dodge truck in 2005 new. Still own it, and basically just use it to tow the Polaris or the Boat to the lake. Only issues are batteries every 2 years in Arizona, and I don’t “properly” maintain them. 😉
