Had such a good time this whole week I never really found the time to upload all the pics so I figured I’d start now that we are on our way home.

As usual this show is so big you aren’t going to see alll of it.. but this is what we were able to see during our time here.

Our sponsor for this years trip would be Team rdp! Obviously if you are looking to buy or sell real estate from Parker to bullhead (and surrounding areas), or upland to big bear, and even in St George Utah give my wife a call and we’d be happy to help you out! 928-706-4200!

So now where to start.. our first night we stayed at the Delano in Vegas.. we arrived to late to goto the Boatshow the first day, but we stopped at STK for a late lunch and hung out with my buddy Bubba from OK! (Bubba had the infamous war party skaters and center consoles).

We had to run to the docks to meet with the guys from HCB. They arranged an on water demo of their new 48’ Campeon. First we head to the docks to see in water display.. These boys do everything first class.. they sent a sprinter van to pick us all up and take us to Biscayne bay where they had one outside of the show for us to demo.

For some reason the rest of the videos aren’t showing in the upload directory.. weird because they show in the pictures folder

Either way it was 3’s and 4’s and the boat barely moved.. crazy impressive.

These ceramic guys want to expand their biz in Havasu.. the sea keeper truck was cool but they had multiple displays we will get into later..

We ran into a guy that looked very much like an older Carter Bahde.. he talked like him too! lol. Freaky

We put an Uber driver on staff for the rest of the weekend so we didn’t have to wait for rides.. got his number for next year. We all knew he was the right guy when we got in and he said we have champagne and beers in the cooler. Lol

Have you ever been out in an Axopar yet Dave?

How are they out in the chop?

This 37 Brabus Axopar was one of my favorite boats for the money at the show. Could’ve been bought for $500ish. Very good use of space and I like the electric convertible top. I haven’t been out in one so not sure how it does in the rough.

Awesome pics awesome place, this would have drove me mental though, idk how many 100's of thousands of dollars that center console is but if my team couldn't spend 5 mins ironing that table cover I would have been red hot :) .

It’s tens of millions on tooling and the boat itself is in the 3’s.. I think most people are judging the boat not the table cloth. Having done a lot of shows in my life I can tell you setting up that cigarette booth as a whole is about as much work as putting on a full fledged event.

Very cool miniature display of how a sea keeper works. Granted in this model it was only single axis but none the less to explain how a gyro can stabilize a boat it doesn’t get any better for a visual display.

Weirdly Ilmore didn’t have their new 650 on display. They were showing that they partnered with tohatsu on their electric division. They are bringing this triple rib to supercat and we might cruise it around the riviera.

This is a 32 gsx but a 36 could be in the cards.. Stacy liked it a lot. Quality isn’t anywhere near the top builders but it does check a lot of boxes.

Not a negative comment but those props don’t look like they have very much pitch? Meaning not very fast.

They are meant for small electric craft to idle around the bays etc..

I checked out the new 29’ Axopar Sun-Top at the show.

I liked it, but I didn’t love it. However, I think it is their best model yet so far.

Here are some thoughts……

The new open bow configuration is fantastic. Needs to get rid of headrest over anchor locker.

The cabin is a great storage and emergency bunk. But a mediocre to poor head. If men want to take a piss in privacy, they will need to sit down to do it.

The new u-shaped seating behind driver and copilot is ok, but since the driver and co pilot seats already swivel, I’d prefer the single 4 seat row, with a reverse bench looking backwards. Which is one of the options.

The gunwale storage is huge for fenders and stuff, but the upholstery over it, needs to be removable or taken out altogether.

I like the drivers position and accessibility to the starboard midcleat.

It’s dash could fit 3 screens of decent size.

Having an open transom has its pluses and negatives, but I can’t really know how I feel until I have it out on a nasty day, in a following sea. The plus is……. If you take a wave over the bow, it’s going to drain so quick, it will make your head spin! lol

All in all, Axopar‘s have become extremely popular where I live. I recently heard that they have built over 3000 boats, since they started 10 years ago. That’s impressive! It also says a lot about their boats. Not bad for a boat builder from Finland.

Let’s head on over to midnight express! Should note their 43 with quint 500’s is priced pretty aggressively at 1.3 spec’d out! Every year they bring an exotic car to match a new boat.

Should be noted they (to my knowledge) where the first to incorporate a shower (or showers) into the T top, as well were the first to do the C02 cannons etc. These things are crazy fast war/party wagons. Right now with quint 500’s they are at 96 mph but expect to be over a 100 shortly with a little dial in.

Couple Of quick pics with MTI and their new cat (red and black) the 468!

In terms of the best mousetrap and business model Randy & MTI pretty much has both. They are absolutely killing it in their field (which covers multiple genres)

Little rdp exclusive here.. they are working on something new in the center console line. They aren’t ready to divulge any information but if your in that market probably wouldn’t hurt to let them know your always interested in new products. ;).
