Merc 496mag idler pulleys & belts without Merc prices

Just FYI, I have early Merc 496mags and found that Dayco 89009 is an exact match for the 6 ribbed idler pulley ($15.06 on ebay instead of $35.87 for cheapest Merc ebay price) and that Dayco 89017 can be used ($10 on ebay instead of $27.26 for cheapest Merc ebay price) in place of the 2 smooth idler pulleys (the Dayco 89017 is the same 17mm bearing ID and same 26mm pulley width but, the diameter is 76mm which is about 1mm smaller than stock). I hate getting ripped off on parts that are interchangeable and Dayco made the Merc pulleys to begin with.

Next I am going to see if I can fit the Moore Performance aluminum Sea & Powersteering pump pulleys onto my 496s...might hard coat anodize them first.

Oh yeah, the serpentine belts are just 6PK2830 (Goodyear/Continental version is $14.31 on ebay)
