Mail Delivery!

Got this in the mailbox today. A mangled piece of mail inside a plastic bag with a sincere message on the outside from the Postmaster:

While I'm very heartbroken that a piece of junk mail we always love to receive was treated with such callous disregard (at least they put the surviving half in a bag for us), I'm very glad we dropped our ballots off in person.

Vote by mail? Yeah, I don't think so.

After 20 years at the same address, I can no longer get packages to my door. They say it's inaccessible due to my steep driveway. Driveway hasn't changed in 20 years. The lady doesn't even leave a note saying they missed me anymore. I have to track everything that's delivered by them to find out I missed it. I was able to get Amazon to drop them as the preferred shipper, so most of that comes via UPS. I spoke to the postmaster yesterday and he said he'll fix it. We'll see.

Go to USPS website and sign up for informed delivery. You will get an email everyday with a picture and a list of tracking numbers of what is coming to you that day. Then you will know what didn't show up.

That's how I found out it wasn't showing up.
