My buddy is selling a 2002 with a 377 Scorpion and a Bravo 1XZ drive with drive shower. 400 hours. I think he wants $34k for it. It's a clean boat. I only have a couple pics.

Damn, that has to be a killer I/O package for the 22. Drop a bunch of weight but not a whole hell of a lot of power...... Sounds like a winner to me.

Nice Boat I am actually looking at it's twin with a 540
Wow. Definitely post some pics and numbers if you get it. I would think it would hiver at 100 mph or so with some decent HP

How many HP? I knew someone with a 22 w/540...maybe not the same boat and it was fast but it was not that docile around docks or easy to drive at slow speeds. Seems like it was setup with high idle and was just boat that was not easy to manage at slower speeds. I would drive all of them. I think the ticket would be the single 300...get into the 90's. Would love to see what one could do with the 300R...after seeing the Liberator 22 do 110...bigger props more torque...would think think the 300r would be a better/easier driving 22 than 22 w/twins...at least my opinion...

I agree with you on the OB and that's what we really want but slim picking these days. Paul said he knows of one in Havasu that the guy just put a 300R on but he also said the guy wants a shit ton of money for it. I asked how it performed with the 300R but never heard back.

People are proud of them right now with Outboards on em. Its funny that Outboards are "in" right now. I got so many people people asking me about my old sled this weekend. Amazing.

Yeah you are correct with the OB band wagon. We have had OB's, jets, V-drives and IO's and with it just being the wife and I now she want's another outboard for the room and convenience. Years ago you couldn't give them away. Lol

Scorpion 320 HP
Thanks Nic - I see quite a lot that are 400hp - 425hp. What are the differences or are there different options from Merc. Also 377 horsepower with 354 Torque on Mercs website. Can they be flashed and computer updated for additional power or are they built 377's.

Yes Sir and as you stated there are all old ads. They aren't the best at removing old ads

They suck at that, I have a half dozen boats on there from over the years, I get calls daily. The site was designed not to sell boats but rather to generate spam and sell ad space based on the volume of boats on there so they make it nearly impossible to delete the ads.

I am not sure. When I ordered a new 2000 Ultra the Scorpion was one of the options and I recall 320 HP I went with the 454 Mpi instead with 310 hp. Dave has 3 Scorpions in his garage he should know the specs.

It’s really easy to login and delete your add when your boat sells.

Thanks Al Gore

That isn’t right. That blue scorpion pushes 375 if I remember right
Damn I was way off. Bought that boat 20 years ago. Back when your Schiada was new as well. Remember when they were both new sitting 2 driveways apart.

Thanks Dave and it is a bitchen boat - I have see it a couple of times on the water. I imagine it comes with a pretty heavy price tag as well. I am really looking to stay with a single OB

I think he wanted 65-70? Didn’t seem that unreasonable given it has very few hrs

Damn. Is the garage for sale to? There was a 22 with Ilmor on Lake Don Pedro back when we had a houseboat there. Whole different sound than a big block.
I think that Mach 22 from Lake Don Pedro is for sale at Maxed Out Marine in Lake Havasu.
