Starting Infusion process.

About half way thru infusion, a typical hull takes about an hour to pull all the resin thru.

All M33 comes standard with Carbon/Kevlar, 100% Carbon fiber and Foam coring.

We build all our bulkheads from Scratch, they are vacuum infused too.

Most hulls stay 5-6 weeks in the mold.

Hull is complete, we turn them over and blueprint the bottom of every boat.

Hey Tony
Has the f29 been sold or is it going to be for sale soon.
Thanks
Yes He has already sold the 29 to a local guy in Northern Utah. Let me know if you're in the market and I can help you out.
Thanks, -Tony

The materials in this layup must be at least 50% more expensive than a typical fiberglass lay up!

You are close... Part of the cost is materials, but most of the process is labor and time. Our boats are in the mold for 4-6 weeks depending on the size and lay-up that particular boat. Thanks for noticing the details.

What is the benefit of infusion in layman's terms? My best guess it allows for a better/consistent application of resin throughout the fabric. No clue.

The process is better and stronger then the standard hand lay-up. (low VOC's too)
Excess resin is actually weaker and heavier. Infusion pulls the resin through the lay-up and coring from the center to the flange with optimum and better saturation.
Thanks, -Tony @ DCB

DCB builds all of their own wire harnesses for every boat. We also use digital and electric switching in the M-33 standard (as shown)

Beautiful boat with what seems to me would be a great combo. Never been an OB guy but I feel like the church is converting me.

One question I've always had with OB's is why is there so much seemingly unused space between back seat and transom? Is this a looks thing, cockpit practicality or is there functional purpose to it? Just seems wasted when you could almost get an additional couple of seats or something by changing the layout.

We at DCB, have a custom tub set-up to accomodate storage in the center and a place to store all six buoys with the Fleece DCB sleeves mounted on our own pin cleats (three on each side). Also, the cockpit and the seating and where we tooled it has everything to do with the center of gravity on the boat. Both the M-28 and M-33 have this system on the outboard set-up.

Great question! And thanks!

As AWESOME as the pictures, and attention to detail are, riding in one of these is an unforgetable experience. They are so sold, handle so well, that it is unlike any other boating experience. I say riding because i've never owned, but several friends do, and after being in 100's of boats, over 52 years, it was a life experience to go for a run in an M series. All that build work that we never see really matters when you move at the speeds these boats do!!! As a side note, if any of you ever get to go with Tony at the wheel, no one handles a cat like him!!!!!
