Surprisingly, the sushi at back water jacks is decent.

There’s a penthouse on top of the 1932 you can rent out. Pretty bad ass.

Jeffery’s Steak house is pretty bomb. And they have lobster

Oh and by the way, if you want some BOMB pizza that’s tucked back in the finger and super chill go to Poppa Chubbys. Place is cool. Kinda weird how you can run on plane in the finger on the way back too

Lost an impeller coming out of Osage so had to one leg it for a couple hours back to the house.

Coconuts I’d say is a must. As it tap n grill. Love the pool at tap and grill. They have tables in the pool and overhangs in front of the swim up bar that protect you from the sun. On the list of stops should be the cave bar too. Place is bad ass. And people run past it hard usually which is cool.

And have Rob take you to poppa chubbys for pizza.

Yes!
We got pulled over 3 times last trip by the Coast Guard, we were told the CG is only out for this week. Probably the AZ numbers on the boat.

Looks like cool places. A bit of a run by boat. Will try to hit them tomorrow before big crowds on water.

Boat had a loose belt. Starboard engine got up to 190. Scott was freaked but I don’t think 190 is anything to worry about. He replaced impeller as PM. All good now.

Keep in mind Missouri has brutal humidity for like 9 months of the year and then the rest of the time its -25 plus there are tornados that take away your house every 4-5 years.
Its a good place to visit for the Shootout but please know when to leave, thanks for your cooperation.

I don’t know what it is but PSI motors are on a different level. I’m doing a PSI motor for my next build. It’ll pound the mains out of the bottom end but I’ll have smiles for miles doing it

Well we tied up to some donzi, then inside boat was ready to leave, so we untied and floated around till we had a spot.

The Performance Boat Center family I think, pulled tied up to us, as they wanted the outside spot worked out like a champ, I got the Hallet moved around and redocked smoothly.

In that time is when Dave managed to drop his phone and beer in the lake oops

I REALLY dig the axopars. Will be our next boat for sure. When we’re ready to settle down a little bit. Would make a great dual purpose boat - cold weather ocean boat closed up, nice weather lake boat opened up.

There’s some good running tests on them. That couple that runs all
Over the east coast in an MTI bought one and did a long run test. They explained how they run flatter and the bow pierces the swell instead of going over it and it takes awhile to get used to running that way.
