WTF hits the road when you see the "Falling Rocks" sign?

Curious how long it would take to clear that away and get the road passable?

If I’m cal trans (or equivalent), I’d be thinking about a chicane in the road and leave the rock where it lays, lol! (While I lean on my shovel).

It actually looks like they did just that and created a temporary bypass around the boulders, hense the loose gravel sign.
