Some smoking deals
that is a odd looking boat. What is it?
Don't know, but it is seriously funky looking. I call it the Spaceship. See it on Havasu all the time.that is a odd looking boat. What is it?
Was that really an out of sight price 10 months ago? Probably not. It's the I'm selling this for what it is actually worth sale
Honey Oak, asphalt roof, 0 upgrades, and a 20" garage for $439k

Saw one come across my instagram yesterday of a havasu house at orig 900k and was down at 790k or somthing like that. Followed the link and it showed pending status. Won't say i'm holding my hat but these are significant price reductions if in fact they would have fetched full price 10-12 months ago.
I think its an adrenalinethat is a odd looking boat. What is it?
Zero backyardFor that house at that price, it was still high 10 months ago in my opinion.
But it has been on the market 2.5 months. Itās obviously priced too high.
No one said prices wouldnāt drop when rates went up, but $300k for a basic house in Havasu is a lot of money. It could be made to work as a part time rental though. House was sold in 2013 for $120k.
Correction - It has a 28āx29ā garage.. that is good for a 25ā and shorter boat.
If you wanted to get out of VRBOs and storage costs to play on the lake.. might not be too bad at sub $300k.
Some of you must live really nice lives . That house would work just fine for us at 300k . Even with honey oak cabinets .
I am not in the rental market I know how it destroys the life of the neighbors. I was just saying it has a roof ,walls and ac . At 300k looks good to me . I don't need a place in Havasu we have a tiny little mobile in Parker with only a carport so I'm not even in the market .It would be a great pad to use as an investment/vacation property.
If you start factoring storage and lodging costs, it adds up quick.
At $439 no way. At $300 you are into the ballpark of it penciling out. It would be $1700-$2000/month for a snowbird rental as long as it is clean and nice.

Mouth of the lake a few years back, not sure if it was this one or not. My wife and I pulled up as the people were being rescued by other boaters.I recall that as well.
If I recall this one or one like it ended up upside down.
I like Honey Oak.
Especially if Honey Ryder comes with it.I like Honey Oak.

Snowbirds I completely agree with you . Down side is I like them better then summer people so we use our place in the winter just as much as the summer . LolFor the most part Snowbirds are great. Last time I was in town at my house a couple weeks ago I had 3 different people walking by my house who I didnāt even know asking if my snowbirds were coming back. They were excited to see them.
Yep. The other side of the coin is if you are coming out that much, the cost is simply worth it. More trips at a moments notice, no more packing, no more storage costs. No more hotels or rental costs, etc.Snowbirds I completely agree with you . Down side is I like them better then summer people so we use our place in the winter just as much as the summer . Lol
We stopped renting to our birds after we figured out the offseason is better than the summer.Snowbirds I completely agree with you . Down side is I like them better then summer people so we use our place in the winter just as much as the summer . Lol
Why is this even a conversation? If youāre not gonna buy the house does it really matter thereās crazy prices everywhere.

I think everyoneās version of a river pad is different. Four walls, a roof and AC is just fine for some up to granite counters, shaker style cabinets and the latest variant of white/grey paint throughout with a monster garage for others. Theres a lot to owning a second home and numerous things working against it once you get it. I always say to people that are thinking about buying a second home āmost people arenāt wired in the head for itā.Some of you must live really nice lives . Exactly why I don't talk shit about what one family's dream home might be .I think everyoneās version of a river pad is different. Zero backyard
About 5 steps into the neighbors pool
Because, in another 18 months it will crash, and the last 5 times I said the crash was 18 months away will be worth the wait because I will finally buy a house in Havasu after waiting 12% of my life for a deal I could have had if I just bought 5 years ago.

I don't disagree with your statement; however, I watched a good discussion, regarding real estate drop in pricing. One phrase or statement of "when to buy in today's market". Best prices to purchase will be when the feds' first drop the interest rate for corrective action. Prices should be at the lowest and start a climb up.
Mortgage would be 1500 at 300k, profits would be slim at 1700-2000 rent
Expensive.that is a odd looking boat. What is it?
