for a trailer.. something decent. What is out there because I’m struggling?? - asking for a friend. :D

8 lug on 6.5 bolt pattern

It’s a triple axle and should be raised for 25-30,000 lbs on the tires. What wheel and tire combo?

Looking for all the different options.. These are going on a new 42MTI Slotvee trailer that Adrenaline is building, and I'm helping out with a little bit. This is way out of my wheel house though.. LOL I don't do heavy stuff. All my trailers are on street tires!

American force and alcoa both have few options. The MTI that schiada rigged (the one that burn a few years ago) had alcoas on the trailer

if you're going alcoa route theres a few "custom milled" guys on a dually facebook group that I'm in. They do some pretty slick things with alcoa blanks. Maybe they could mill a pattern you like and drill a specific bolt pattern.

Rickson wheel, or vision wheel. You can get 19.5’s in a few different styles and widths, then run say a 245/70-19.5 H range tire to get 4K+ lbs per tire. The vision heavy hauler singles are a pretty popular wheel on SRW trucks.

American Force, Alcoa, etc will all get you what you want too, but more $.

BTW, 8x6.5 is gonna be the most common 8 lug pattern, so no problems there.

If he just needs heavy, 17.5" is a heavy trailer wheel/tire size that most people are switching to from 16" 14-ply tires. 17.5 is gonna get you somewhere between 4,000-6000lb of weight capacity per tire and has been around for ever on lowboy semi trailers.

American force wheels are all built to order, when i ordered the wheels on my last dually they were a 6 week build time. They can forge any style wheel

I googled it and looked at boarwheel.com and found this for 19.5.....and just a few tire options that showed the weight rating. I was assuming he was wanting single wheels and not dually wheels.

Is it just for weight, or pimp factor with 19.5s? 17.5 singles or duals are available. They use them on the drop axles on super ten dump trucks as a single. Kentucky trailer and a few double and single drop trailer makers use them in dual setups. They can hold more weight than a pickup can pull, used under class 8 stuff. As for 19.5s, someone already said it, Ricksons. They do well with weight too.

This isn't being pulled by a Pick up. The boat loaded should be 22-24,000 lbs.

That's a big boat...How many axles, and are they rated for it? When you get into that weight, dual tandems work best for turning/scrub. Assuming the trailer has already been built, and built such to clear 19.5s, really limits wheels. Some of the P chassis chevys had singles in that setup, bread and chip box vans mostly. Have to call commercial wrecking yards. 1 or 2 aftermarket companies, as mentioned above, make the singles. Most do dual setups for pickups though, so rim offset won't work.

19.5s in aluminum, then the Rickson is best shot. Also makes it nice because the tires are more common, every tow yard has them on hand for their lowpro tow trucks. The 17.5s may be nice to lower the center of gravity for the load, as I am pretty sure this may be a taller profile than most are used to hauling. Problem with them is truck stops have them on hand, but not going to find them at a gas station.

Those are clean, now do what I did with my trailer wheels, strip em, polish em (properly) and clear ceramic coat them and you'll never have to clean them again.

In future if you need some one off custom bad assery. Bones at OMF in riverside can do one off stuff.
When I was gonna do the normal golf cart rims on my dolly trailer he was gonna do some Kustom chit for me. But adrenaline figured out a way to stuff full size rims under there

I am going to try and talk my buddy into having these wheels dipped in "black chrome" for easy clean up, and it would match the rest of the program pretty well. Pretty pricey at almost 300 a wheel though.

Just powder coat them. Or you could have them painted than clear coated.
