Taking the Dually in for an update and a module replacement today.
Evidently trailers with solar and some other conditions back-feed power to the truck triggering a check brake system light and may disable braking.
Wife says she's sure it did it once.
Then an update of some sort.

Were told turn off the solar in route it’s sending a confusing signal to the truck.
Figuring that out now.

Hmmm. I have an older GMC (2004), and my trailer has solar. I haven't had any issues. Maybe my truck is too old for the back feed to affect it.

Just finished both updates as well about 2 weeks ago.
So far no issues and i have towed short distance 2 times and so far so good.

It used to do it almost immediately after putting it in drive and would do it a few times but then would be fine for my whole drive after. Funny it never did it the first 6 months of owning the truck and towing about every other weekend. Trailer has 400watts solar with lith batteries..

Hope the issue has been taking care of just a touch annoying haha
