I have been wanting a Challenger for a long time and today is the day, I just put the deposit down and signed the deal on a 2019.
I test drove a few 2018 Scat Packs and Hellcats with automatic and the manual trans and decided I liked rowing through the gears. It will be a fun toy for my mid life crisis :) I just hope it's not snowing in Kellogg Id when my car arrives there.

Please tell me your ordered it with the widebody option. Preferably in the LOF approved hue of Hemi Orange as shown above.

Congrats by the way. I think that the 392 Scat Pack is the best version of that car anyway.

Congrats!
Who did you order it through at the dealership? 8 weeks is gonna be iffy on the snow, 12 weeks I'm pretty sure it'll be here.

I did buy it through Dave Smith, I had tried talking with a few more local places, one would never return my call, the other wouldn't even talk with me until I filled out a credit form, which I passed on and the last one kept quoting me sticker price like he was carmax and this was all on 2018's. It was a friend of mine who has purchased many cars and trucks from Dave Smith and recently bought a Durango SRT, who kept telling me to call them, well I didn't have to. He gave them my info and a young man named Waldo called me and we set it in motion. I was told I will be on the first order group for the new Challengers.

I didn't get the wide body option as checking that little box was about 6k and that would have put me over my budget and It isn't orange :) I went with the white color which I had mixed feelings about but I am the guy who goes to Baskin Robbins and buys Vanilla.

Nice, Waldo will get you taken care of.

The packaging that the manufacturers put together are pretty crazy, you want this small option, well that requires these other 32 options! And nothing wrong with White. It's gonna be a fun car.

Just an update, our car is in and we will be flying up on Wednesday morning to pick her up. At the last possible moment my wife did some adding on to the original order which included the widebody, Harmon-kardon sound system and a few other goodies. Pretty excited, this is the first car we have ordered, we were on the first order group and I should be getting some pics of the car soon!

Looking forward to the pictures. I too would have ordered white and prefer only vanilla ice cream.

I'm disappointed they did away with the Shaker. One of my favorite Features on the previous cars, for sure.

The Shaker is still an option on the 2019's just not with the widebody, that's how I originally ordered it, I like the look of them.

Plane tickets purchased.. check. Ride to the airport in the am.. check. Move some things around at work so the wife and I can both go...check. Last look at the weather to see our best route options.. check. Dotted the i's and crossed all the t's.. check. So we are good to go?? Not so fast.
Just found out that our just delivered, new car has a recall on some harness for the display and the part is 14 days out. If I take delivery of the car tomorrow as planned, there will be no heat/ac or radio.
Bummer

Super sweet and make sure to share some photos. To be honest my biggest reason I didn't like the Challengers was I didn't think they came in a stick . That is awesome.

485hp right? I had no idea how cool that car is. I have been building them online. I don't see where you can add the wide body. Did you do the Dynamics Wheel Pack with the six piston Brembos.? So bad ass.

I am a huge Ford guy and was going to buy a new Mustang next year, but this car really has me intrigued.

Yes 485 hp, if your building them online.. careful, that's how I started :) under the 2019 tab under packages for the 392 r/t scat pack the first option is the widebody package which includes the brembo's.

I test drove the Ford Mustang and the Chevy Camaro and I liked them both but they were a tight fit for me, I wanted something a little roomier for our frequent trips to Havasu and Vegas.

Congrats....

We special ordered my co worker a 2015 scat pack shaker in the lime green. we deleted the skat pack stripes and kept the Shaker graphics. Its a bad ass car and they run hard.

Ahh, I kept building 2018s.

I am such a Ford guy when it comes to cars to move to a Dodge, but damn they are so cool.

Uh oh, I really like this car with the wide body. Just built it in grey with widebody and rear seat delete!!!..

No heat is going to be an issue, it was around 28 there this morning... it is 35 right now.

The dealer is working me and were able to get me more info on the issue, once the recall work is complete they will be shipping the car to me. I can't say anything bad about the dealership, they have been keeping me in the loop. I just want to burn some rubber! :)

Congrats. This is going to be our next ride. The long overdue replacement for Cindy's Trans Am. I look forward to reading your long term thoughts on it.
