Well persistence pays off

I just picked up this bronco loaded beyond belief , with an extremely rare Hoss 3.0 with fox internal bypass shocks suspension

on top of that it has leather it’s a top line Wildtrack with the lux package. All Wildtrack

models have a Sasquatch suspension this thing is sick.

Used, just 1,200 miles with all add on Ford extended warranties. In 3 months of searching I have only seen just 2 others that has this suspensions, it is $2,500 option. Not many go beyond 60K MSRP, this does, not enough chips as Ford uses a chips for most every options as opposed to 2 or 3. Luck of the draw, I paid MSRP plus what I would have paid for tax, warranties thrown in, a deal.

What is MSRP?
My wife wants one and I have told her that even if you could find one you would be looking at the very least of a 10K bump on the MSRP and probably closer to 20K!

Just look around cars.com and craigslist people that have a new one, they’re not bringing crazy money on a resale. Maybe six months ago but not now people don’t quite have the cash and loan rates are high

This one was 62,800 MSRP. I would highly recommend getting a Wildtrack as opposed to a loader that Badlands comes out to the same price and these are worth a lot more down the road. Soft top models are worth less
Whatever you do get it with a Sasquatch option which has the beed lock large tires and wheels which is standard on the wild track edition.
I have a guy in the Central Valley California that I passed on he’s in San Jose it doesn’t have a high suspension but it’s pretty well loaded at about 59,000 MSRP. Most people are getting about 8000 over MSRP keeping in mind they had to pay sales tax all these broncos have less than usually 3000 miles on them I thought they were gonna hit the payday at 80,000 but it’s not happening

Look around craigslist to especially southern California and Northern California. I have a guy in Whittier that has a Wildtrack I don’t believe it has leather for about 67,000 it’s on craigslist for like 78,000.

NICE, congrats !!! I did a loaded Badlands for the wife. I wanted to go the route you did with a Wildtrack but she wanted black leather and that was only available in the Badlands. I have plans for it once she's done driving it... :)

Guy was from Scottsdale, he has relatives in Hermosa Beach. He drove it to hernias. so I was coming to HB for a few days anyway and he brought it to my house and then took him back to the airport everyone’s happy.

This is how I saw pricing;

Wildtrack Model highly suggested;

High package has the 12" screen, many have this level.
Lux in above that , and very few have it, not a necessity. mainly the B and O sound system.
leather, about half have this.
Hoss 3.0, maybe 3 in USA for sale have this. A guy in MT had one. personal choice.

in the end, get the high package, minium. Aside from leather most options can be added later. Sacquach is standard on Wildtrack. Orange is a 2022 only color, side graphics and steps can be added later. Hardtop is a big+ in resale, about 40% have this.

Like mine, this is a fisherman looking for a big payday that will never come;

A little bit about the full size Bronco.

The door panels and some interior parts are not super high end, NOTHING like my RAM 1500 in leather, most plastic. I get it, but a higher nod would be nice.

Clearly this was designed around the mechanics, off road, and reasonable comfort on road. Having owned a Wrangler, this is 100 times more comfortable than the Jeep on road.

Unique features off road, not tested yet;

Stabilizer Bar disconnect. A switch does this permitting higher front wheel travel/angle, amazing.

Electronic Locking F and R diff, front and rear by dash switch.

Trail Turn Assist, reduces turning radius by applying the brakes to the inside rear wheel in low speed, or high-speed steering angle maneuvers.

Trail Control, one pedal drive, ill test this when this goes to Vegas this Winter.

Of course this Wildtrack has ALL of the electronics, distance control, etc. But the most impressive is the 360 cameras, full 360 degrees when in reverse, backing into a tight spot, or parallel parking in effortless now. Best I have ever seen.

In addition, Ford is now selling a new ECU that adds 25HP to the 6 cylinder using premium fuel.

From what I have read, the Wildtrack with the HOSS 3.0 is basically a Bronco Raptor less the 400HP engine, for much le$$.

Do you think it will be a comfortable ride driving 80 mph back and forth to California? We might be in the market for something like this but it will need to handle the long journeys at highway speeds for us .

I had it at 70, seemed fine, but higher speeds, MPG drops, this is not a Pirus. I am averaging 19 MPG so far. Decent seats. Standard wheels/tires would be better for long highway trips

Good luck with your Bronco. It’s too small for us and offroading. Only interesting Bronco is the unobtanium Raptor - that would be badass even if it is tiny inside

No heated-A/C seats? Bummer. It's my favorite feature of my bro's Raptor lol.

So this is a series of trim packages with a decent suspension/wheel upgrade as one of them? Kind of like a Raptor lite?

What's the Raptor version pricing out at?
