Yep, just saw that report. the winds are settling for the next couple hours, so hopefully they get control.

Anyone in that area that needs to get away, I have plenty of street parking in Carlsbad and I just restocked the garage refrig.

The salt water is really hard the equipment especially on the snorkle pump and the actuators on the tank doors.

They need to put in a fresh water tank like we have here in the Yorba Linda hills. Its tied into a water main and can be refilled quickly.

Would seem that would be a perfect application for recycled sewage water, fight and fertilize in one process. I knew a guy years ago down here in San Diego who had a large acreage with a pond. Fire helos emptied it a few times, but later covered his expense to refill it, in his case, hauled in by water trucks.

Couldn't imagine the clusterfuk to rebuild a bunch of houses at the same time in those neighborhoods with all of the rules they have. I had family there back in the day and it took years to complete a remodel in most cases. Everyone else's homeowners ins rates going up in 3,2,1.....

I’ve done a fair share of working in homes in Laguna. Emerald bay is a pain for parking and overall Laguna has to have the snobiest most bitch about everything people I have ever worked.

Emerald bay have truck 6 inches into a neighbor property line on the street they are coming out yelling or calling security. Work on a public street need to park in front of a neighbors house to work for an hour homeowner is telling you to move can’t park there even if it’s public street. I don’t argue these I just say tags are to date it’s public street call cops. I’m usually gone by time they show.
