Our group had the following schedule. Are there food vendors there besides pizza and tacos and if so, are they ridiculously expensive? I'll be bringing some food but trying to figure out how much to bring.
Is there going to be an RDP inmate meet up?
I have a portable solar panel that I want to hook up to a battery in the van to power my 12V cooler fridge. I usually just place it on the ground in the sun. Do I have to worry about someone stealing it? If so I'll try to stick it on the roof of the van.
One of my responsibilities was food coordination (Camp chef).
- Breakfast @ camp or in transit to pit area. I would normally make breakfast burritos before leaving home and heat them up in the morning or on drive (have an engine bay food warmer in Jeep)
- Lunch - sandwiches if in pits out on course. If in the Hammertown pit - we ate at a vendor. One of the class 11 cars we supported was sponsored by La Bufedora . Tacos were good, but get old quickly. We had 1 buy, 1 get free with them. Still averaged $20 per person.
- Dinner - BBQ at camp
