I was going through some Old NHRA Videos last evening and kept running across this Interesting Guy!! he had a great smile and would always Wink after making a statement. He was a tuner who seemed to Have "IT" and I do belive did drive a Funny Car. I just thought one or more of the Members either knew about him or actually knew him and his Story. There were so many Great Characters back in the day before the $'s clouded everything. The Old Front Engine Rails, just No Describing them to anyone who never had the opportunity to Live the experience.

I remember that KC and team used to blast the music in their pits.

He and he dad were characters from Tennessee. Always had a great time.

CK, his pops got heavily into sprint cars after drag racing.

CK Spurlock was the manager for Loretta Lynn,Kenny Rogers,Dolly Parton&other country stars.
He got into Sprint car racing big time.
He bought a chassis copied it and started Gambler chassis.
At one time in the 80's Gambler chassis were the dominant Sprint cars in racing...

May be the same KC, but the one I remember was in Fuel Funny Cars and or Dragsters. I can see him switching over to NHRA.

His Fruit of the Loom Funny Cars had the best paint schemes, loved them. He was called "Hollywood".
