Just enlarging holes but teaching my kid

Adrenaline has a bunch of DOM that they need the ID enlarged from .600 to like .810..

So today we covered facing.. drilling from both sides, peck drilling (due to depth), deep boring, and mostly how to be around a lathe without being scared of it..

When I left in my youth to go take on the world I bought a lot of tools.. after my dad passed I got all his as well..

So I basically have two sets of everything.. parallels, mics, 1-2-3 blocks, indicators, grade a gauge blocks. You name it.. I have 2-3 sets

Passed down tools are always the best. He will appreciate the sentiment from grandpa to father and now to son. Hopefully he will continue it on with his kids.
