July 2015 Powell !

We came across a black cat that looked to be around 40' on the way south to Antelope. I felt like we were cruisin pretty good at 50-55 and he cruised by at 80 plus in the chop.

I couldn't tell what it was but it looked and sounded great!

We're thinking about beach camping out of the boat next year. We've done the houseboat there. What do you bring for the shitter? All I've seen are the five gallon bucket deals. Thanks for posting up a GREAT thread!:thumbup:

I have a porta-potty on board that was included when I bought the Howard I carried a porta-potty on my old boat as well. I think the NPS made them mandatory a few years ago but I've never been checked. on my boat the potty is for absolute emergency only. I pretty much have my family trained. there are these all along the main channel

For posting up such a "Cool Powell Thread"!!! This is a lake that should be on every boaters bucket list. I have also seen the lake via houseboat, "boat and tent". This is by far the best way to get out and really see the lake...

So out in the backyard tonight after going out to dinner trying to re live the Powell Feel. showed H2OChick this thread and thought I'd add one more after she went in.

We'll scrub Ms. Subtle tomorrow got to clean the garage a bit as well. I got a text from Nucking this morning saying "dude we're in Escalante where are you" :grumble::grumble:Football starts Monday. Looks like, Deer Creek until to cold. Maybe the kids won't make the playoffs and we can make a late October run to Powell. Thanks again for playin :beer

Great thread, thanks for sharing. We houseboat there and or hotel up there a few times a summer. Great place to be. Thanks again for sharing, hope to come across you someday on the lake. We're mostly out of Wahweap though. :thumbsup
