Do you guys think the cart below is too “over the top”?

I am going to be customizing another Gem Car. This time it will be a 4 seater. I am just not sure how crazy I want to get. The cart below has been bagged! Is it too much? LOL

Here is some inspiration for you @C-Ya

As nice as that is, I cannot have a lifted cart. It won’t get into my parking garage.

Here is another idea…….. that I like.

Stretch it so the rear PAX can sit at same height as front PAX.
Chop the top down and drop it a bit.
No bags IMO

check these out...pimped out version would be pretty cool.
I like those. However, I would have to remove motor and controller and make mods, that would void the warranty. I will never be happy if it only goes 25.

Here is one that could be pimped out…….. A Manx Buggy NEV

Next one should probably have inflatable floats and a prop to get through all that rain you've been getting.

Approx 20k to 25k for just the looks. Add another 10k for long range lithium and motor and controller mods.

Here is my current plan for my next Golf Cart. No particular order.

2014 or 2015 Gem Car E4

Completely disassemble it for a frame up custom build.

Extend wheel base to fit HUGE Tires. 33” tall.

Powder coat frame

Add Air Bag System

Remove front wheel drive motor. Replace with rear wheel drive axle and 5kw Navitas motor. Add 600 amp controller. (Should be a bat out of hell with this set up)

Add over sized disc brakes all around.

Add electric power steering.

Add Rolls Royce Starlight headliner with 2 projectors to light interior ceiling Iron Cross pattern

Customize interior with tan colors. Leather Recaro seats. Real teak wood floors. Real wrapped wood grain dash with 12” screen. Everything color matched.

Custom fabricated mods. Rear trunk lid converted to F1 Racing Wing - Oversized. Wing sides will also be the fender flares for the huge rear tires. The original rear Gem shroud, fender flares to be removed.

The rear tires will be larger than the front tires. It will be a cross between a Manx Dune Buggy, F1 Race Car, and Rat Rod.

Other fabrications is the F1 style running boards. Also, the F1 front lower wing that goes in front of the front tires.

F1 Pirelli Tires with colored Pirelli stripe

Under driver/ passenger seat with be the sub woofer and tank for air bag systems.

Cart will be wrapped in a Matte Chrome with color still to be determined. Entire roof will be a colored Iron Cross logo. Rear wing will have colored Skull and Crossbones. Other backlit emblems.

Tailights will be real Ferrari taillights. Lots of back lighting of key features.

When finished…….. it won’t look like a Gem Car. It will look like a 60’s Hot Wheels Car.

I am guessing it will have approx 80 miles of range with a top speed around 50mph. I will need to re gear it to keep it from popping wheelies. lol lots of torque.

My only dilemma is…….. Why not just buy the Manx NEV? I get instant gratification. All I have to do is reprogram it and it will then go 80mph, with 150 miles of range. I then only have to wrap it, and buy bad ass rims and tires. I will Have a warranty too!

From behind……… it will look similar to this.
