Just finishing cleaning this one up. It should be done this weekend and ready for Desert Storm weekend. Hopefully it floats. It's been a royal pain in the ass.
Looks a lot better!!

Yes, I've been friends with Larry and Stephanie for almost 4 decades. I believe in and trust him.
Larry Peto is very good. In the mid 90's when I was building for GT Performance he was doing cylinder heads for us.

Figured I'd make a post since this section is kind of dead lately. First dry fire today to test fuel system, check for leaks and such. A few brief heat cycles before i put the magnaflow and cooling plumbing back on and run on the hose to set carbs/timing. I'm also not crazy about the silver ceramic headers now that they're on. I'm thinking I'm gonna pull them and go black ceramic. Just wanted to get it fired. I needed to just fire it to a little motivation.

excellent job showing off your rigging in that second vid. I always love seeing how different people do different things.

So you're running only elec fuel delivery, I dont think I can see a mechanical pump.

Are you running an electric sending unit on the regulator, and a mechanical gauge on the fuel log?

Correct electric only (Mallory comp 140) the sending unit on the regulator is for the dash gauge the mechanical is off the log (fail safe). I still have a boost reference regulator from back when I ran twin turbos but I don't utilize that aspect of it. I tried it for a bit with the psi but the vacuum pulls it down to a pound or less at low rpm. I just set it at 6 pounds. I've had great luck with the Mallory 140s and have used them for years. I do however carry a spare in my travel shit just in case. #8 from each tank to a high flow fuel valve that I usually just keep on both then #8 through the filter to the pump to the regulator and then I run #10 to the secondary filter/shut off/fuel log for volume with a number eight to each carb inlet

So I'm looking for some opinions (I know dangerous territory) on the silver header thing. I'm about done with this thing and I'm either gonna pull them tomorrow or the next day and shoot them black ceramic or wait till next time i NEED to pull em off to shoot em. I think I prefer the black after looking at it for a while but a couple people have sent me messages saying I should leave them silver soooo..... lets hear it.... and you know if you all have any opinions about anything else you want to share let it fly. Lol. Thx in advance.

Black. Match the Cav Plates, valve covers and ski tow mount. Leave for now, use it! Winter project!

I like black with the Orange. I had some headers coated black inside and out years ago. When I get them on I’ll let you know how they do. 😁

Any boat with a blower needs zoomies, just my opinion tho.
That was the plan this winter for a few reasons including weight loss(my Stellings big tubes are 53 pounds per side+ I lost 100 pounds switching back to my mag 14/71 from my psi 206B) but after trying on a set of Olsen and Bassett zoomies, dimensionally they were not going to work with my higher gunnels. Talked to teds about building me a custom set of 2-1/2" and then I was gonna throw some baffles in them if I could find some or run Harley baffles but I put that 2K idea on hold for now.

I like black ceramic headers, but if they run hot they will go grey. The Grey is always grey. Lol
