I designed a landscape system for our backyard, a little over 3 years ago, bought all the stuff and that was the end of that. A couple weeks ago one of my good friends gave me enough shit and offered to help so we finally got it done.

2 control panels, 40ish lights, on 8 separate zones, each with full dimming and dividable into 2 separate strings. Our landscape is pretty symmetrical right to left so each zone has a right and left side. Each of those strings has a WIFI switch so I can shut strings on or off or even individual lights in a couple spots on my phone. Turn most everything off when my fat ass heads for the hot tub kind of a PSA for the neighbors! I am using 12 of the 16 strings now so some room for future, maybe Christmas lights of some sort?

In a round about estimate what do you have in parts on that lighting project. It looks fantastic. I am in the needing to do research mode for this and full yard audio.

That is some Bad Ass Resort Style Lightning!

What lights did you use for the tall palm trees?

Love the way they look ! The trunk is illuminated all the way up

the palms are the money shot for sure

well it was a while ago, pretty sure they were from VOLT 7 watt LEDS 2700K with 38 degree beam, there are 2 at the base of each palm about 2' off the tree and 30" apart from each other, give or take. It took several nights of moving them and bulb changes. Ended up way better than I anticipated for sure

Since this is RDP, the sparky’s and Engineers are going to ask questions😁

(this is mine, sorry in advance)😂. I see 10 amp fuses protecting those circuit boards. I see the Power Supply is Rated @ 25 Amp max, rated @300watts. How much current do the largest llights accept? I’m assume LED bulbs are being used?
Thanks
Also looked great😉

Nice catch, great question, according to my carpenter's electrical calculation, take that for what its worth!

The driver is rated at 300 watts so 80% equals 240 watts (20amps) useable, total system is a little less than 200 watts (16.7amps)
Leads off driver are #10s I bus the power down to 12s after the first 3 Zones (dimmers)
Each zone runs through a dimmer rated at 8 amps, and each of the dimmers can be split into 2 strings, but not all zones do this.
The heaviest "zone" is also a single string and has 40 watts (3.3 amps).
I am replacing the fuses with 7.5s (to protect the dimmers) but I didn't have those so I grabbed some 10s

Wow, thank you! it does make sitting out back at night much more enjoyable. Although I may find myself drinking a bit more!
