Looking at the surrounding damage, shrapnel entering the the front maybe? A lot of energy, but not the same as a high velocity round. Looks almost as if they laid the front of his skull back on for the photo. Big void behind it.

The drone video is of yahya Sinwar moments before being eliminated by elements of the IDF.
Huge score for the IDF and the world in general.
Tank fire produced the rubble, but it’s been unclear what follow up assault actually killed him.
The still shots I have not seen until now.Then again, I haven’t watched any follow ups since this morning, it’s likely Yahya with his skullcap removed.

That is exactly the primary agenda for Isreal and always has been, for the most part.
They are some of the best at clandestine operations and hunting down the leaders of their opposition.
No opposition leader is safe from them.
Sinwar was just the next in line as the IDF has killed everyone from the top down when it comes to Hamas.
Like was said, promotions are death sentences.
So while wholesale retaliation is what we see on the news, Isreal is in fact all about cutting off the head of the snake.
It’s why they are attacking Beirut right now.

It's odd this doctor has claimed Sinwar died from a bullet. Every statement by the IDF has indicated a tank round collapsed the building, resulting in his death. There has been no official confirmation of the pathologist's statement.

One militant fled to a building where soldiers sent in a reconnaissance drone. In a scene captured on video, a man sat in a chair for a bit and then threw a block of wood at the drone. A tank accompanying the soldiers fired on the building, and it collapsed.

It’s not semi auto so an entire encyclopedia of stupid, knee jerk, ineffective CA regs do not apply.
It’s a dedicated long range rifle, there’s an entire legitimate sanctioned sport for this.
At 20+ pounds and taller than me (with the suppressor) it’s a horrible choice for warfare, but an excellent choice for tack driving at 1/2 a mile.

A .308 AR based rifle (AR10) has its purpose. But sniping isn’t really it. It’s maybe the mobile “big gun” in a squad of 5.56 carriers.
But the man with the spotter is always behind a bolt action rifle, with his ballistic calculator and dope sheet.

Agreed. Ballistic impact of the skull usually cause's internal compression damage…ie: the head blows up.
That looks more like external trauma.
The reports I’ve read tended to center the “autopsy” more around dna identification.

I’ve been to Israel spent almost 1 1/2 weeks there. I saw everything from land mines up on the border to swimming in the Dead Sea. I felt comfortable after a week there, we got curious about going and crossing over into Gaza. I hired an Arab to give us a tour of Jerusalem. Things got exciting, guided was packing as he watched over us. I stepped outside of a gift shop to smoke, wasn’t out there a minute guide comes rushing out and grabbed me back inside. He put the fear of death in me. Things got real exciting when we headed back into Israel check point. I didn’t bring my passport and the Isreally guard was hesitant and letting me back in. He hit me with a bunch of questions, all the time the barrel of his M 16 on my kneecap the whole time. People there live on the edge day to day. Everyone has weapons and a military duty. I’ve been to worst place in my life, some I talk about.
