Islander rv detailer. Recommendation?

Our rig gets washed 4 times a year. Waxed 2 times a year.
The 2 companies we have used are just not reliable. It's time to find someone who's wants to take our money!!
I'm aware islander has a approved vendor/service list. That's a conversation we will have with them once we find a new detailer.

Who do you use or recommend.

Also, this is not a open thread to discuss havasu work force, fully aware after 20 plus years the challenges

Go with detail specialties can't go wrong.

I believe Chris Howard has his mobile set up going. Call Howard custom detail you’ll be more than pleased I assure you that.

Chris (Detail Specialties) has restarted his mobile service.
I used him before (prior to him having to close mobile down) and he had the best customer service.

Every Little Detail did a wash last year when I finally got the Renegade onsite. Good service, but I know folks have had scheduling issues.

P2D - they cancelled on me because of the wind. When I called them to ask where they were, they said it was too windy and would reschedule me. I was pissed I had to call them to find that out. When finally rescheduled, the work was good. Have heard multiple folks get the same treatment.

Does Winston do mobile details?

Multiple mobile shops do good work.
Issue is Islander limits who can do work on property and over the last couple years, those approved shops continue to have scheduling issues.

That's debatable. They cleaned our coach several times, but the last time they were supposed to come in to do our coach, no call, no show. I called them, and the gal kinda gave me the runaround and blamed it on someone not coming in. No apology at all. Couldn't get me rescheduled for something like 3 weeks. We were headed north by then. I understand employee issues, it was the lack of a call and apology that irked me. Also paid top dollar a couple of weeks earlier for a truck detail, and it had tiny red spots all over it when I picked it up. They came off with a fingernail, but they were all over it, and there was no offer to get them all off before we drove away. This was two years ago. I also got burned by Winston. One of his guys (not him) showed up at around noon or so in late October. Sprayed the windshield of the coach, and it immediately cracked. His response was, "Welcome to Havasu." I called Winston at the office, and he was not apologetic either. This was about the time he moved back east, but he's obviously back now. Cost me $500 out of pocket for the repair. I have a private guy I use for the truck, and Perfection 2 Detail did an amazing job on our SxS for a reasonable price. They would be my first call for the coach. Lots of folks in here use Every Little Detail and I've heard no complaints.

2 years ago that was Patty who answered DS’s phone. Multiple reasons while Patty is not at DS, but failure to call customers when scheduling issues arose, was only 1 of them.
Tim is the shop scheduling guy now and I have had zero issues.

Good to know. Yes, it was Patty, you are right. Super nice, but that event kinda soured me.

The guy that does our truck is on point. He stays in Islander, he hates the management and they seem to dislike him. He has a year round spot, he does detail work as a hobby. He is retired. Very cool dude with fantastic stories and he can crush CLs like no one I have ever met.

He has to leave the park to do the work, so he can't help you, but you should go meet him next time you are out, he is fun.

My neighbor two doors down just spray paints his every year. LOL
