It's a madhouse and we love it!! ā¤ļø

This is rad! We had a big rival VB tonight and the girls played their ass off and won. Came home, made dinner and buddy from down the road said ā€œfree beerā€ā€¦. Went down there at 8 and very few folks out in the neighborhood! Granted, it raining an inch an hour right now, but still disappointing! Love Halloween, itā€™s supposed to be fun!!!

Just heard they shot a few more people across town tonightā€¦ā€¦.. cannot wait to leave here!

In our tract, sections have outdoor festival like parties and the kids are sticking to that area. Only a few knocks at the door. Use to be over a hundred.

This is the house we were at so Iā€™d say easily 3000 people in the area if not more

Same here in LB. 2 groups, 5 kids total. First cracked me up, little kid's costume was from a show that I have no idea who he was supposed to be but it was the mom who was funny. After I gave the guy a hand full of snickers bars, mom looked at me and said what about the baby? She was holding an tiny infant. Gave her a hand full too. There's probably a trail of snickers wrappers on our block this morn.

It was cold and damp in the great white north, but we had several kids and parents out. I was surprised at the number with the trunk or treat 3 blocks away. Several of the parents where dressed up with the little ones. That was good entertainment for the night.

We live out in the country. No kids at allšŸ‘
30+ years ........ none
As a kid growing up in Highland, Ca, we had a couple hundred. As an adult, I moved to Adelanto and had hundreds at the new housing tract I lived in. They were driven in from other parts of town. In Hesperia, we had 2 in a 23 year period. We lived at the top of a high, steep driveway. We felt bad for them, gave them some water and the whole bowl of candy.

At the new place in Tx, we didn't know what to expect. Figured on over a hundred and got 16. All very well mannered and all dressed in a costume and of an appropriate age to be out trick or treating. Most had adults with them. My wife prepared some little goodie mugs with full sized candy bars in them for the adults. Nice way to meet some of the new neighbors.

Out rural we get none.

That said we go into Walnut Grove to trick or treat. The west side has an epic trick or treat. people go big! Most of the delta comes here. Hundreds and hundreds of families. Also very safe.
Kinda a perfect small town thing.

We lived in LHC since 2013. Weā€™ve never had even 1 kid come to our door for Halloween. But, major props to the Havasu merchants and other local businesses for their participation on Main St. And itā€™s not just the business on that portion of McCulloch. Others set up booths, similar to Desert Storm, and hand out treats to the kids. It is an excellent way to celebrate.

My neighborhood was busy. But we are one of the few areas that have sidewalks but not gated.

So the poors come here.

We usually have about 30-50 kids each year. Our block everyone turns out their lights so no one really wants to go down it. Went to our daughters last night and there was kids all over the place

Three of the Costco Bags gone. Hundreds of kids it seemed. My son and his girlfriend ran that part for the first time and had a blast doing it.

We turn the lights off. Tired of seeing bus loads of kids with real mustaches from Santa Ana knocking on the door.
Our neighbor hood hands out full size candy bars wrapped in $20 bills šŸ˜‚

Not dead in Newport. The port streets go off every year. Itā€™s insane. I was working out with someone who lives there this morning and she said someone had an In N Out truckā€¦..lol

Not many people at our place in CM but a few streets away from 17th and there were plenty of kids. Only went through one bag.

I feel it depends on the state and cities you live in. Here in AZ my neighborhood is mainly made up of snowbirds. Plus with the advent of trunk or treats leading up to the actual Halloween night. I believe it leads to less kids. Plus with the real fear of kidnapping and drugging of kids is more prevalent nowadays. Sad reality but I believe this rings true. I left a bowl of candy at the front door. Came home after 3 hrs of being in a different neighborhood because we learned last after staying home we only had 5 visitors all night. That bowl of candy was full when we got home. To my point, it depends on where you live.

We had a ton of kids come through. Was one of the busier Halloweens. There is a street a block over that goes all out with multiple haunted houses. We were out until 9pm. Temecula Unified also gives the kids the day off after Halloween. Definitely not dead in our neighborhood and seems to get busier every year. Lots of older kids out to which is cool to see.
