Hello this is Dave with myfreecabletv.com first I would like to thank everyone who took a risk and believed in me and this Magic little box. Though I haven't been on here in a while, I thought I would see how things were going. Looks like a few of you might require a little tech support. So let me provide you with the ultimate tech support solution. First you need to download the Voxer app on your phone, it's free and it's the coolest walkie talkie invention ever. Once downloaded, you can add your friends and start your own group chats. For Tech Support just send me an invite my screen name is dmonta7818 and I will invite you into the Tech Support Group Chat which is kinda like a forum in a way.

Here's how it works. Once you have been added to the Tech Support Chat you can ask any question you want just push your walkie talkie button and start talking when your done push it again, then a Voxer ring tone will alert all who are part of the Tech Support Chat that there is someone who requires assistance and most likely 1 or more Voxees will gladly help you out to include me. You can also text if you choose.

This new Tech Support has really simplified offering assistance on the spot. I can't think of a better way to provide the best one-on-one tech support to each and every Stream Smart owner bar none.

This works with either Android or Iphones.

Once you load it in it will alert you to anyone in your contact list also using the app.

Strangely,it has alerted me to my aunts ex husband being on Voxer,someone I have never spoken to on this phone.How it did that I'm not quite sure?

Speaking for myself I'm not much interested in downloading another app, and having to learn something else etc... I thnk we should just do tech vids and upload them to youtube!

I agree no more apps. Youtube would be much more effective. I don't think it would take many vids to answer most everyone's questions.

For the most part I sit down and use it... Sometimes there's messing around and trying different stuff

I have the new quad core box hard wired with an Ethernet cable and you can turn the box on and watch anything with out any problems. I cancelled cable and just use the box with no problems. With the old dual core and streaming wireless I was having intermittent issues. It worked but you had to work at it.

What are the differences between the 3 & 4? Is it just the quad core processor?

Quad core or Dual core processor. Quad core is much faster.
