Worked with an Sparky in Toledo Ohio who they called white pants Miller. He wore white painter pants to work every day. Had a job at the Monroe Detroit Edison coal fired power plant in the early 80's. At the end of the day Miller would take off his pants and put them back on inside out and walk by the boss office with those bright white pants with no coal dust.
The boss would get so pissed off!
The rest of us had on gray coveralls and would be mostly black head to toe.

My 2 gen Tilesetter Buddy I've known since grade school has diabetes and just lost his feet. He's getting a fit for his prosthetics soon. He's been through the wringer with this. Tough old Bird. He became a federal building inspector, but I don't hold that against him. Great stories.
