Getting things dialed on a 20 yr old boat is going to have challenges but sometimes it’s like wtf
Simple thing like oh the fire extinguishers are under the back seat floating around because the brackets are missing
Someone here told me about the Eddie marine ones
Sweet even thou they are over $100 each they look amazing, quality is top notch
Half the price of some of the other mounts
They fit right were I need them
Go to slip the extinguisher in and nope

It’s a 2.5 pounder but the first alert one is 3:1/8 not 3” like it needs
Ok need to get different extinguishers
Price difference that I have found so far is over $100 each
Now I’m in another $300

Snow ball affect. I dropped the cafe off to have a couple small things done 5 years ago. Got it back a year later with a 45k bill.

I’m not as anal as some but man I hate seeing things out of place on such pretty machines. Cars, bikes, trucks, boats etc. and it’s not like it gets better with age. I find the little stuff bothers me even more now than it used to when I was younger. Can never just leave well enough alone.

If it’s any consolation, I’m well into 6 figures dialing in my 18 year old boat. Im going to need to keep it for a looong time if I am ever even remotely able to justify it..

Was going to say they have mixed review in real life, I had a few in my offroad stuff and went back to ABC extinguishers out of fear of failing.
