A total of 29 boating deaths were reported on the 65-mile long lake in 2018, according to Texas Parks & Wildlife
There were 29 boating deaths in the entire state during 2018.
The article says there were 29 deaths on that lake in 2018.
At Least 4 Boats Sink During ‘Trump Boat Parade’ in Texas, Officials Say (Published 2020)
No injuries were immediately reported at the event, which was taking place on Lake Travis.www.nytimes.com

AUSTIN – Last year, 29 boating fatalities and hundreds of boat accidents and injuries occurred on Texas waters. As part of National Safe Boating Week May 18-24, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department law enforcement are reminding Texans to be safe this Memorial Day weekend and all summer long by following the law and taking basic safety precautions while on the water.
Obviously surf boats were the cause.
That's a really good point. If that happened, it would be great to see the wake laws actually enforced for once.I didn't catch that. If it was me, there might have been words with the guy that escalated into self defense if ya know what I mean.
