One of the first tools I acquired when starting my Apprenticeship. Sadly it didn't survive the fire, along with my Yankees and 1st Klein 9N.
Have mine in a kitchen cabinet, indestructible.
The adjustable pouring spout is interesting. I've never seen one like it. I've had this thing since the 70s. I have no idea how it has survived moving to other states and countless apartments and homes.

In 30yrs that one will still be around. The new ones, not so much.
I knew IBEW guys excel at taking coffee breaks, but wasn't aware it was part of apprentice training during the first week. One of the first tools I acquired when starting my Apprenticeship. Sadly it didn't survive the fire, along with my Yankees and 1st Klein 9N.
Much of the 1st period (6 mo) is dedicated to the proper "Unionization" of new members, both in class and especially on the larger projects. On those projects apprentices are taught to "Slow the fuck down there sport", don't put your brothers out of a job or make us look bad. Then the all important lesson of how to carry around the same stick of 3/4" emt, acting busy and the number of feet of conduit the job Steward didn't want us to exceed per day.I knew IBEW guys excel at taking coffee breaks, but wasn't aware it was part of apprentice training during the first week.
