Every spring the bunnies decide to give birth in my backyard. Keep in mind I have two hound dogs......I don't get it, maybe they know I love animals....
The boys found them but Bo then came and told me without eating any of them.
See my new babies, there are 5 this time!!!

A friend of mine has a Golden Lab and they couldn't figure out why he had a bunch of little bite marks on him until one night he heard him whine and went out to find him cornered by a bunny.:smackhead:lmaooint

He has a video of the bunny chasing the lab all over the yard.

Yes the people before me went crazy with the foliage, It's a big backyard with lots of hiding places....

That would be so funny to see. Once mom and dad show up (only in the evenings) they'll sit in the middle of the yard. The boys won't chase them when it's dark, I've trained them not to. If the desire is too strong and the charge them the bunnies just jump up and down in one spot. The boys stop and stare at them like "What the hell are you doing...run!"

Update on the babies.........cause I know you're dieing to know!!

Yesterday I did a lot of yardwork....went to check on the babies and they've all flown the coop...

A few hours later Bo the Beagle is barking and looking at me from the far corner of the yard. I get there and Bo is lieing on his tummy barking at one of the babies he has trapped... He didn't hurt him one bit though Such a good hound dog!! I picked the fury thing up and relocated him where Bo couldn't find him for a while. It's wonderful exercise for my chubby Beagles.
