I've posted a few things about them, but nothing to up close and personal.. These are pics from their booth at the Miami Boat Show.

They call them Center Console yachts and it's easy to understand why.. They are the "king of the hill" near as I can tell. That said I have always found their boat show booth to be welcoming and inviting. A lot of the manufacturers that build the upper end CC's are honestly kinda assholes. That's another story for another time I suppose. In the meantime check these things out, they are pretty flipping unreal!

They used to make smaller boats and you can find them used every now and again.. I've considered getting one just to sport the HCB logo. :D

*Neither of these two boats photo'd would be even remotely useful for Lake Havasu etc.. This is strictly large lakes or Ocean use..

The 53’ is one sweet boat. And best of all, it’s a serious fishing machine. Unlike most other high end CC today. This one is ready for any tournament !!!

I remember Hydro Sports as a “ sporty” center console fishing boat.

If this is what they are building now, they have come along way!

Pinkies up..
Crazy next level stuff. Not a bad lunch on the water. I’d be in for a cruise or two.

Amazing botes Dave, thanks for posting them. For that money I'd think most buyers would want more than what a focused maxi CC FISHING boat like that offers. But what do I know, I'm not their target audience

How does the 425 Yamaha compare to the 400 or 450 Merc? Why choose one over the other? What does a 53 run price wise?

By the looks of it the Miami crowd really likes Yamaha outboards. I'm not sure why but a ton of ocean boats are running them. I'd like to know too.

I was talking to one of the cc mfg’s at a boatshow not long ago. They said Mercury owns 85% of the market share for inland water ways, and the rest is split up between the other mfg’s.. on the inverse they said Yamaha owns 85% of the salt water market share and the rest is split up among the others..

I don’t know if that’s true or not, but the guy sounded pretty poignant about it. Lol.

made me feel kinda bad for Suzuki and Honda to be honest?

I’m not sure if the price in a 53, but with the options on these boats I’m sure it can vary wildly.. Hell the sea keeper can be 70+ thousand by itself?

straight guess in the dark I’d say around 2 mill. Nicely done.

Service and parts availability are the big thing. If you go outside the US, which a lot of these boats do, and go to the Bahamas, Caribbean, etc, service and Yamaha parts are much easier to find.

Love HCB and they are just over the top. I have been to Plantation Boat Mart (their delivery and sales center in the Keys) on Plantation Key twice and have got to crawl through these. Pretty top notch for sure.

You really don't realize how big a 50 or 60ft CC is until you are up next to it on the dock.
