I brought the boat to Steve Curtis in Orlando after the Miami show. Steve is one of the best in the offshore business, If the boat could go 190 Steve would have done that.

Well Sean if ya want to know that was the day I spent with my wife walking around keywest going to our favorite restaurants and shopping for presents for the kids and friends.

To put things into a different perspectiv, it would be a hell of a chore for me to get in or out of that boat with my ankle the way it is, so I would pass on it either way.

As someone else pointed out I have already had those kind of experiences in my life, and I think it’s great that Michael is getting to experience them, while on the clock… and he’s far better with a video camera than I will ever he, so yes it makes sense to send him instead of me.

To the point of the last post to you in the key west thread, I am unsure why you have some hard on for me. The last time I talked to you was when you called my wife to apologize to both of us for the same kind of behavior you are displaying now.

What I can tell you is both the key west thread and now this one were both positive threads that had great content that the members were enjoying right up until you brought this undying negativity in them.

I don’t know where, or why it’s coming from, but I’m over it. Negativity breeds negativity, and that is unhealthy for the board which is in turn unhealthy for my business’s which is something that I’m not going to look past any further.

I do hope you figure out your demons, and I genuinely wish you “all the best”.

I don’t really have any major issues with anyone that I am aware of.. there’s a few guys that I don’t care for and I’m sure a few that don’t care for me.. but I don’t go out of my way to go making friction with them or anyone else.

You are correct in the fact that the community is what makes the site work. To say it the way ya did though kinda downplays the 20 years of work put into building the community and growing it. There is a ton of things behind the scenes happening to keep this place, running, growing and on the right track.

Just about every single forum across the internet got steam rolled by social media and are now defunct. RDP is the only one that has not only retained its members, but has grown tremendously since the original MySpace came out.. and now FB/IG etc.

In short if it was easy everyone would be doing it.. God knows a lot of have tried. Had they done it for the right reasons who knows they may have succeeded…. Unfortunately all of them tried with the sole intention of killing rdp.. which brings us full circle to nothing good comes out of negativity, which is why they all failed.. no matter how much money they threw at it.

The boat does have air conditioning in it. It would be unbearably hot without it during the summer.
