When the hood on my '78 Chevy did the El Bendo, I cut a couple pieces of a 18 gauge 3⅝" stud and screwed them to the underside with self tapping screws.

😁

man, some chicks just need attention any way they can get it. I was expecting to see a mid 70's chevy with the hood folded in half:). Older guys will know exactly what I am referencing.

And you are proof "chicks need attention anyway they can get it" 🤔🤣🤣🤣

Some hot chicks actually do know how to get shit done. Not all are "prissy, cant get my hands dirty, look at me" type of girls! Some actually are willing to do alot more then you think!!

My wife (then GF) helped me stuff a motor in my racecar 22 years ago the day after Christmas destroying her nails to get ready for Hangover Nationals the next day. I then knew she was a keeper😉

… I did something similar to my Blazer …but for the life of me I can’t remember exactly what it was… But it worked…(I may have tack welded some rafter ties in)🤷🏽‍♀️

Way. . . . . back in the dealer days, when a C/K truck came in for a LOF-

In addition to lubing the door hinges (we used GM PN# 1052948, dry slide lubricant). we also put a few drops of AC compressor oil on the hood hinges.

We used a couple drops of AC compressor PAG oil on the hood hinges. It would not collect dirt & dust and held up under the heat from under the hood.

Tried the dry slide, heat valve lube, silicone spray (worthless), white grease (attracted dirt and looked like shit) and several others but the compressor oil always worked the best.
