Need to install a new rear bumper cover on my Escalade. I will get one that comes unfinished. What should it cost to paint a loose bumper cover? Should I take it to a body shop or is there a less expensive option? I'm in OC. Thanks.

Simons auto body just repaird my escalade and I paid them $700 to paint my rear bumper. My truck is the new ice white so its a lot more work then normal colors

Probably $250-300 to paint a standard color. More for tri coats.

About 2 years ago I got a new bumper cover off Ebay for our old 4runner. I think I paid 280 shipped, and it was painted the factory color. It was an aftermarket cover but it fit perfect and the color was a perfect match. I was really impressed. The fog light mounts were not the same as factory, but I just used some different hardware and they fit fine.

Damn....another crash in the new.one?....U need to stay off the road. :D

This was the wife......long story, but she hadn't fully emotionally recovered from the accident.... nothing like crashing your brand new 6 figure car to snap you back into shape.

At least you got that out of the deal :)
sadly...the bumper I paid to fix was the rear one (someone hit our 2 day old car in a parking lot)

The front end was a $10k claim  all the radar and sonar up front is expensive. Plus they had to replace a head light, blinker, grille and some other shit.

I was a bit confused because you said rear bumper and that repair is the front.

Cant have anything nice!

Assuming this is a newer Escalade? And assuming for that reason you want an oem finish? Then In reality expect to pay 1200-1700. Thanks to California your not even going to be able to get your liquid material for 2-300. Also when you buy the part make sure its certified and dont buy it pre primed. Even if you take it loose plan to leave the truck so they can adjust the color as much as possible.
