We did quite a bit of boating this year. Started in Feb down in Florida then back to Havasu and Mojave. I’d say we did 8-10 trips. We put 60 hours on our boat alone.

How many this season? Not enough...! Kids are getting old and have "been there done that," so we lined up a couple adult trips. House took a crap mid-summer so that put a dent in the boating. Did the last run of the season last weekend with just wife and me...

Boating season is over, anyone got any good shopping cart or skinny tire stories to share?

I think at least 8 trips this year, including Lake Powell and the Catalina Ski Race. We went out to Pleasant one day last week and it was great, nobody on the lake and the water was still warm. This is the most we've used the boat in years, but we will didn't use it as much as I'd like to.

Zero, same as last year. I think one trip the year before? Sometimes life gets in the way.
For the first time in my life, I have a full-blown farmer tan! For years, come August I could pass for a border brother, or middle-eastern...now, "Jethro", or maybe "Bubba" 🤣

Not enough...!
I think we did 4 trips total this seson which isn't bad considering they were week-long trips instead of the mad dash 3 day weekend warrior trips we usually do.

We are pretty consumed with kid's sports practices and games lately, so its been a challenge finding weekends that work.. At the end of the day the river and Havasu will always be there. I miss going but I will miss these days with my kids when thy are grown up.

One. Lots of shit went sidewards this year. Last year was 2 trips and that was shitty. This year was supposed to be 7+....ended up at 1. I got pissed off and sold everything lol.

We hit 10 Lake Mead trips, of course it's only an hour from house to ramp. We didn't make the river this year, but maybe next year. I didn't get the boat until May of this year after taking a 10+ year break from owning a boat.

I think we had a pretty good short boating season. From middle of the week boating, to holiday weekends, and a Trump parade, it was a good summer. I cut it short, but I need to get the boat right where I like it, and I didn't want to abuse it. It was pretty funny cause the wife was meh about it, then when I pulled the plug she almost cried realizing it was over.

However many still not enough. I do know that I had 4 out of 5 days in a row last week. Was a total blast. Sadly I am too old for the day that I missed. LOL

Boated Saturday and discovered this on Sunday morning. I don't think that blade would have made it thru another day.

anybody have a Right Hand 36P Standard Bravo 4 blade they want to sell? This one made it 3 seasons

Wow! You got real lucky though, really would've sucked to be out on the water and throw the blade. Even worse, catching it

For sure, cuz I don't typically check the props before we go out. I would have had to idle back on the other motor. it's happened to me twice in the past 8 years with 36 lab finished thinner blades. It sucks watching everyone fly by you :(.

I thought the standard 36 would last a little longer, but slapping the water at 6000 rpm beats those things up and they are only rated to 600 HP.
the motors are 750s 😁 I have another new set of 36 labs. Couldn't find them during Covid and now they are $1,627 at TCM instead of $1,250

Vote was RDSUX because no option for boat owners that never made a trip ;)
I own a boat but it spent the season in storage, 12 trips to Topock, and never even saw the boat, way too busy dealing with family matters, we may drag the flattie out for some winter boating though.

My Wifey decided to keep a boat journal this year and tracked every time we were on the water, who we had on the boat, who we ran into, and just good stuff from each excursion, etc. So far we have 42 boat trips for the Season here in WI. 😎

Gratuitous pic of wife unit because she is the best First Mate in like…ever!

I cheated. If I have a lake with a dock and leave the boat in the slip, is it a trip if I can simply walk down to the dock and take the boat out? If so, I can do that Sat/Sun from June to Sept.

Of course this year didn’t quite work out that way, boat made it to about mid-July and crapped out, didn’t get it back until after Labor day and it was too late to bother. So I opted to run it at Havasu before putting it away for the season.

At lake now, lost a rev4 prop why where? , chipped it up pretty good, and out today with grandaughters last day. With spare prop , by end of year another two to three. Hopefully with a new hydromotive prop.

Not enough to justify owning all of these fkn things.

Started year with 3, now have 4, total launches (or leave from moorage) is probably only 40. Lots of excuses, but none matter. We’re going to run 2 different boats this weekend then winterize everything. We’ll get 3-4 days on the cruiser before years end. Across the board I’d say about 135hrs total on the meters this year.

Only 2 this year so far one was to local lake. The other was to parker becasue when i go there my stand up ski had minor issue so i said fuck it went home got the boat came back.

Turned out ski had stator stop charging trip before so was a dead battery.I had my trailer at lapaz and would stop on my way home when i worked in so cal.So 2.5 hr drive to west valley phx and back to parker with truck and boat.

4 trips but out of Dana point. Stayed close. Trailer in shop 'till July so crashed on summer in havasu. Was really enjoyable. 10 minutes to launch. got a slip a few weekends. Sandbar in the harbor to hang. Water was pretty warm I guess. Cool seeing the OC Coast from the water.
