How are the water levels on Havasu and in particular as the top of the lake merges into the river reserve area? Can you navagate normally from the lake up through the reserve area up to Needles Bridge?

A little low, but if you pick the right line you can get through.

Lake being full, possibly means less flow from Mohave will be coming down river. Proceed with caution.

We went out 2 weeks ago and it was low. Couldn't find a good route up river at the mouth. Went out this past Saturday and water was up, no problem. Look at the USBR website. Havasu level is typically 445 to 449. It was a 445 when I couldn't find a route. Last Saturday it was at 448 and I had no problem.

Current levels today at 448-449. You are good to go, at these levels the channel beach parking will be slim to none, but it's not allowed at the moment anyways.

back in February I found a huge sand bar up above the actual sand bar that I don't remember seeing before. Havent been back out on the lake to revisit and figure that all out

This has always been there. Most people don't take the time to look after they pass the mouth of the lake.

In February they were letting very little water out of Davis dam.

Hopefully that guy with the airplane will show up with an aerial view , that’s usually what I use to navigate the entrance

It has been there for a long time hugging the port side of the river as you're heading up river. But it's getting a lot bigger the past couple years. Really sticking out now. There's plenty of room for boats to pass but we were running down river last October and I was like, Oh shit, that thing is way out now as I scooted over. General rule stick to the middle or to the right all the way to needles and you're fine. LOL

Yeah, heading down river and to your right (starboard) it juts out about half way now I'd guess. When we were there in Oct. the river was low though.

Ran north about 10am and it was fine. Keep the typical line and no issue. There were a couple boats stuck to the right as usual.
