Imola was canceled due to heavy rains. It’s a real mess in northern Italy right now even the 60th anniversary of Lamborghini was canceled a complete scheduling disaster.

I'm a car dork. I love the tech that goes into that type of racing, from the drivetrain to the brakes, aerodynamics to the suspension...mechanical artwork. If ever there was a Grand Prix event to go to, I'm pretty sure that's the one.

Monaco, very unique venue, hope you have a great time. For me the best part of the Grand Prix weekend is qualifying. Unless there are sporadic rain showers the race is generally a snoozer. Of course if your favorite driver is leading then it's great. I don't really have a favorite driver anymore. For the money spent I would rather go to Spa.

Looks we get very lucky. Only 2 light days of rain out of the 21 days that we were in the area.

Talk about “go be poor somewhere else”…the wealth in Monaco, particularly for the GP, is beyond comprehension.

I played poor there for a couple days some years back. Our first day we stopped for lunch at the casino, I checked the menu and was craving a sandwich, looked at the pricing and OMG they wanted €35.00 for a ham and cheese. Needless to say we found other back street places that were more reasonable.

Looks great. Have a blast. Off my bucket list now since you can’t sit at La Rascasse and have lunch during quali. Montreal is the best and easiest GP for North Americans. Sit in turn 10 and eat at Moishes’s steakhouse.
