Wife wants a lily pad for the kids. I just don't know how to rig it up on the boat without scratching the gel. How is everyone getting this done? Let's see some pics.

I do not have a lily pad myself. However, I see most people have them strapped down on the swim step.

It's a bitch to roll up the big ones. Usually on the back swim step is where I've seen them. Fits nice on a pontoon between the seats and the outboard.

I see most on the swim step but it's a bitch if you stop to jump in the water and have to climb over it to get back in the boat

Essential item in the harbor if you have swimming dogs.

I purchased 2 additional straps and strap to the grab handles and it rests over the swim steps.

How much do these things weigh? I have a tri-toon with a hard top and would like to get one and transport it up on the top. Just not sure if my spaghetti arms can muscle it up there..... :D

I have a short cut (only 6' long), weight is maybe 20lbs (if that).

May be easier to hang inside from top. They are fairly light just cumbersome.

Not a bitch, almost impossible. On the way back from the DS raft up we stopped and I jumped in, after a few failed attempts at getting back in the boat I told them to leave me and I'll swim back.

First, the ifloat is much better than the lily pad. We use the the straps that came with the ifloat and strap it to the grab handles above the swim step and it stays no problem. The better idea would be to tie it closed with the straps it comes with and use another pair to strap it down so you could untie and swing it out of the way to get on and off the swim step with out the thing unfurling. If you can stand in shallow water, it's a piece of cake to roll up again. In deep water along the side of the boat or swimming next to it, its a real pain in the ass.

Mine fits inside the boat right behind the driver/passenger seats on the floor.

I also have he ifloat. Way better than Lillypad. More durable and hold more weight etc. Cheaper too!

I'm interested in getting a pad soon. I see lily pad has a memorial sale on the 12' for 399 free ship. Can't seem to to find any special son the I float. Does anyone have the 9' pad, seems like it would be easier to roll, less room taken up, and cheaper
