I have a 2800 been running it last 2 weeks as no power on job. Bought it at Home depot thinking was 1200$. Needed 1 that day as a job we were on had power outage. It sat for like a year until 3 weeks ago. Had to pull carb and clean it. Was much easier than working on my old 3000EU. Seems to run everything the 3000 did including Jack hammer. Not easy to move like a 2200. 2 guys load and unload and move around site as needed. Not to loud but not as quiet as a 2200. I was thinking of grabbing 1 of the 2200s for ease of use. Great prices.

Like was posted above the 2800 is a jobsite generator, louder than the EU generators, but not near as heavy as the 3000.. let me know if you need anything else..

The 3000 is 50-57 dbs at 144lbs, the 2800 is 62-68 dbs at 69lbs and the 2200 is 52-57 dbs at 46lbs.. hope that helps.

There are actually 4 EU3000IS 's available. On these the price has been reduced to $1525 each.

APS is doing some type of upgrade starting tonight at 10 and possibly lasting 'till noon tomorrow. All power in the hood will be out with no way to make coffee!
