The whole thing looks brand new.

I saw it on Wednesday, it’s a true time capsule.
I saw a couple of rock chips on one trailer fender but didn’t look to close. It could have been road grime.

The outdrive looks virgin.

The gelcoat looks and feels like a brand new boat.

The interior is all 1997 with carpet but still presents as a fresh new boat.

Cleanest unrestored classic I’ve ever seen.

If it’s got power it looks like a stock drive and likely single ram steering at best, but looks like no ram assist at all.

You are right. Those same guys now tow their skis with an F450 platinum at 54 MPH, go through Ehrenburg to avoid the road of death and drink Perrier.

It has a single ram system not familiar to me. It would be about the only thing I’d want to change. Most guys ran the WPM ram steering back then on something like this.

I didn’t get a chance to speak with Rob about the elephant in the room. The engine. Who built it? What displacement? Claimed HP? Fuel requirements.
According to records at the shop it left with a stock carbed 7.4.
There’s nothing external I can see that is stock GM/Merc.
Brodix heads and single plane intake combo. I didn’t get in to look but the guy that did says it’s a Dart block.

Less than 5 hours, perfect gel, hot motor under hatch, lights on it in the garage for the photo shoot........ If it wasn't for the 2 axle trailer I would've sworn it was a Schiada.
