For a masonry or landscape contractor that specializes in hillside retaining/erosion control walls.
I am in La Verne and love ona pretty steep bluff that has had a bit of erosion over the last few years. Looking together some quotes and advice for some terraced retaining walls.

Not looking for standard block guys. This is not the norm. Pretty steep bluff.
Thanks in advance.

1. Soils engineer
2. Civil/structural engineer
3. Contractor

You want to own the plans and be able to shop it apples to apples between Contractors. Any contractor can give you his opinion and pricing estimate but it doesn’t mean shit until the engineering is done, plans are approved and that’s what you are building. You don’t want that “re-price” or “change order” once in bed with a contractor who is sub-contracting the engineering. It’s usually cheaper to separate the 2. Just my opinion as a contractor.
