Hiding your money for New Years??

It seems to be a little known tradition that my family has always done. Does anyone else do this?

I'm always skimming off a little from the ATM to stash, I don't wait for New Years to do it. It makes for a tidy slush fund/ emergency cash.

I did find $20 in a box in the garage today that a customer threw in there a few weeks ago after I refused to accept payment for zinc phosphating a handful of parts....I guess it was hidden until I found it.

Hmmm…..kinda like putting weed in a shaving kit for a trip to the coast, then finding said weed months later after getting home from an international trip.

This must explain why I am not prosperous. I don’t hide money. I don’t eat black-eyed peas and if I saw a tall man in a long coat, wearing a hat headed for my door I’d probably shoot him.

My German side must be overruling the Norwegian side.
